Pilot Program

Become a Founding Education Partner

He Is Not Your Project is currently inviting a limited number of Australian secondary schools to participate in the inaugural Relationship Literacy Pilot Program.

About the Pilot

An invitation to help shape something meaningful

This pilot has been designed to evaluate, refine and strengthen an innovative educational program that helps young women recognise healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns, understand the beliefs that influence relationship decisions, and develop the confidence to build respectful, healthy relationships throughout life.

Participating schools will play an important role in shaping the future of Relationship Literacy education in Australia.

Why a Pilot Program?

Every quality educational program begins with evaluation.

The Relationship Literacy Pilot Program has been developed to ensure the curriculum is engaging, age-appropriate, evidence-informed and responsive to the needs of Australian students.

Rather than simply delivering a presentation, this pilot will collect valuable feedback from students and educators to continually improve the program before wider implementation.

Our commitment is to create a program that evolves alongside educational research, student wellbeing priorities and the changing needs of young people.

What Schools Will Receive

A Comprehensive Pilot Package

Participating schools will receive a comprehensive pilot package, including:

Professionally facilitated Relationship Literacy workshops

Student workbooks designed to reinforce learning

Interactive activities and guided discussions

Pre-program questionnaires to understand student knowledge and expectations

Post-program questionnaires to evaluate learning outcomes

Teacher and wellbeing staff feedback opportunities

Program evaluation report summarising participant feedback

Ongoing access to updated resources developed during the pilot phase

Curriculum Considerations

Flexible Across All States and Territories

The program has been developed with reference to the Australian Curriculum and contemporary student wellbeing priorities.

As curriculum requirements vary across Australian states and territories, program delivery may be adapted to complement individual state curriculum frameworks and the specific needs of participating schools.

Helping Shape the Future

Pilot schools are more than participants — they are collaborators.

Feedback from students, educators and school wellbeing teams will directly inform future revisions of the curriculum, student workbooks and educational resources.

This collaborative approach ensures the Relationship Literacy Program continues to reflect educational best practice, contemporary research and the lived experiences of young people.

Who Should Participate?

The pilot program is ideally suited to:

Secondary schools committed to student wellbeing
Schools seeking innovative respectful relationship education
Wellbeing and pastoral care teams
Leadership and mentoring programs
Schools interested in contributing to the development of a new preventative education initiative

Founding Education Partners

Shape the Program from the Ground Up

Schools participating in the inaugural pilot program will be recognised as Founding Education Partners of the He Is Not Your Project Relationship Literacy Initiative (with permission). As founding partners, participating schools will help establish and shape an educational program designed to support future generations of young people across Australia.

Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest are now open.

If your school is interested in becoming a Founding Education Partner or would like to discuss whether the pilot program is suitable for your students, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
